This insulated winter jacket is perfect for any winter sports from fishing to skiing and outdoor activities up to -5°C. For angler who is looking for comfort and maximum protection against moisture and cold on boat fishing trips in cold weather.

This waterproof fishing jacket is made of recyclable 2-layer laminated membrane Dermizax from the Japanese factory Toray, which provides uncompromising protection from moisture and wind even in the toughest conditions. To provide additional protection against external moisture, a DWR (Durable Water Repellence) coating is used, which does not allow water to penetrate even the top layer of the fabric. All seams are specially glued to ensure complete watertightness.

The jacket is insulated by ultralight, soft, water resistible and breathable insulation Primaloft which is ideal combination of moisture transferring out, keeping warm and low weight. 

Jacket Mist has less Primaloft insulation than Jacket Guard Insulated 80g/m2 vs 130g/m2

 Features of Primaloft Insulation:

- Warmth – When it comes to warmth Primaloft offering significant cold protection.
- Water-resistance –Thanks to its synthetic makeup it isn’t nearly as absorbent as down and when it does get wet it is still able to provide significant warmth, retaining its loft and drying out in a much faster time.
- Packability – Primaloft clothes easy to compress and pack away when they not needed.
- Breathability – Primaloft is breathable and capable of wicking away unwanted moisture. Synthetic insulations, do benefit comparing natural insulators.
- Maintenance – A benefit of Primaloft is that it is easy to wash and fast to dry.

Jacket is machine washable

Check the inner tag for the washing instructions;

Rinse out your washing machine’s detergent dispenser, if possible, to get rid of any residue;

Use a technical wash made especially for waterproof outerwear, or any mild detergent without additives like stain removers. Don’t use fabric softener, powder detergent or bleach – these could permanently damage the waterproof membrane;

Toray Dermizax membrane can be machine washed at 30° using a gentle no spin cycle;

Close all zippers and hook-and-loop closures to prevent snags. Don’t forget to check the pockets;

Be sure not to wash too large a load so that the clothes can be rinsed properly;

Clothes must be dried properly;

Please use common sense and do not drape the garment on a radiator or hang it up too close to a fire;

Use DWR treatment.

After washing machine your DWR treatment fells at least 50%

Once the wash is complete use a spray-on waterproofer is your best bet if your jacket or pants have a lining or insulation. The spray lets you target areas that are most likely to wet out (like the shoulders), without coating areas where you don’t want it (like the insulation or fleece lining).

What is DWR?

Durable Water Repellent - durable water repellent coating. Virtually all raincoats, waders, membrane suits are processed using DWR. More precisely, not the products themselves, the fabric from which they are made. If the diffuse membrane fabric penetrates the interior, one of the reasons is DWR felt as water is absorbed into the outer layer.

We recommend cleaning the equipment and restoring the DWR twice a season.

Dermizax™ is a waterproof polyurethane membrane fabric that provides the highest performance in water resistance, breathability and resistance to condensation. It is an ideal material for sports activities in harsh conditions, this membrane is used by world-famous brands in the production of clothing for mountaineering and skiing, as well as for hunting in extreme conditions in the mountains. Thanks to the water resistance factor of 20,000 mm, the fabric is waterproof in the most severe storm conditions, it can be absolutely certain that no raindrops will pass through the fabric.

The Dermizax™ membrane fabric is designed to allow moisture vapors to escape through the material while retaining body heat. When active at a steady pace, the fabric will retain heat while allowing body moisture to escape to maintain a comfortable body temperature.
