GEAR AID is all about repair & care: Tenacious Tape patches, Aquaseal urethane adhesives, Seam Grip seam sealant, Revivex DWR reproofers, plus field-repair buckles and tools. Fix jackets, waders, tents, packs and boots so they survive Baltic rain, wind and salt spray.

What to look for

• Tenacious Tape: clear/nylon/reflective patches with ultra-aggressive adhesive; washable after curing — perfect for puffies, tents and ski pants.
• Aquaseal + FD / + SR / + UV: flexible, waterproof urethane for fabric, neoprene and footwear; use with Cure Accelerator for fast turnarounds.
• Seam Grip + WP: clear seam sealer & adhesive for tents/tarps/awnings.
• Revivex Durable Water Repellent: PFAS-free spray to restore DWR on shells (e.g., GORE-TEX) and keep breathability.
• Field Repair Buckles: snap-bar / dual-adjust replacements — no-sew fixes on packs and belts.

Choosing tips

• Rips & tears: Tenacious Tape (hex or pre-cut) — press, cure 24 h, then machine-wash.
• Leaky seams: Seam Grip + WP along the stitching on the inside.
• Boots & waders: Aquaseal (+FD for fabrics, +SR for soles); add accelerator in cold weather.
• Wet shells gone “wetted out”: deep-clean, then Revivex DWR spray or wash-in.

Care: clean surfaces with isopropyl alcohol before patching; let adhesives cure fully; store chemicals above freezing.
