The Lowa Renegade TASK-FORCE Police Boots classic is now also available as a fully metal-free variant in the form of the RENEGADE II GTX MID TF MF. Like its brother, the RENEGADE II GTX MID TF MF has an optimal sole and upper design and an upper material made of high-quality, full-grain leather that reliably protects the wearer’s feet from mechanical effects. Thanks to its metal-free construction, the RENEGADE II GTX LO TF MF is particularly well-suited to use near metal detectors, such as at airports or in the criminal justice system. The shoe features a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX lining that keeps feet dry at all times and provides continuous wearing comfort. The heat and cold-insulating sole design of the certified model is anti-slip. It is also resistant to oil, petrol and contact heat.

OUTSOLE WITH AN OPTIMAL RUBBER COMPOUND
The RENEGADE II GTX MID TF MF is equipped with a LOWA RUBBER OUTSOLE. Conceived by LOWA to meet the challenges of real-world use, the profile design is made from an optimised rubber compound. The result is a rubber outsole with good traction in the backcountry and off trail.
Thanks to its special profile design, the LOWA® PATROL provides exceptional support and very good grip even on challenging terrain. Its sole design combines heat- and cold-insulating qualities and is antistatic. It is resistant to oil, petrol and contact heat as well. The sole profile is also self-cleaning.
COMFORTABLY FRAMED
With the LOWA MONOWRAP® frame, the midsole of the RENEGADE II GTX MID TF MF provides the very best comfort. This three-dimensional midsole design was developed by LOWA in 1995. The frame comfortably cradles the foot and support it when the shoe wearer ventures across uneven surfaces. The sole design is slightly raised for shoes with a SUPPORT FRAME.
The RENEGADE II GTX MID TF MF is metal-free. Shoes with this designation are produced entirely without metal parts. This makes the shoes well-suited to work done near metal detectors, for example.

Full-grain leather offers the very best quality that leather has to offer. It consists of various types of leather whose grain side is processed on the outside, regardless of the strength of the natural grain of the animal. The qualities of the leather can be smooth, structured, grained, embossed or shrunk. Full-grain leather has open pores and may be used for many years if it is properly cared for.

Shoes equipped with a GORE-TEX Professional membrane are permanently waterproof, breathable and windproof.
FUNCTIONS
The shoe is equipped with lacing hooks with a closed design. The laces are guided securely and cannot slip out of their hooks. Closed lace hooks minimise the risk of the shoe getting caught on objects.
A special frame design known as LOWA MONOWRAP® provides stability.
The single-injection midsole is directly injected onto the footwear.
Shoes that are designated as METAL-FREE use no metal components whatsoever. This is reflected in particular by the eyelets or hook, the toe cap and the penetration protection in the sole. Shoes that are designated as metal-free are particularly well-suited for work done near metal detectors.

Injected Construction
To create optimal cushioning and the very best comfort, the soles of LOWA multifunctional shoes are directly injected. The complex injection process attaches the slip-lasted upper directly to the sole. This method creates shoes that offer optimal cushioning and are particularly lightweight.
