Kayak EPS steering kit NuCanoe #1724 adds integrated foot steering and QuickConnect motor control to the U10 for compatible Newport, Torqeedo or Bixpy motors. The system is designed for plug-and-play installation without drilling or screwing into the kayak.
Main Product Advantage
Foot-pedal steering keeps both hands available, while the SideTray-mounted throttle and pulley-assisted retract system place motor control at the seat. A kick-up release is designed to reduce damage from unexpected contact.
Practical Details
- Initial installation takes only a few minutes according to the manufacturer; after setup, the system can be added or removed in under a minute.
- Torqeedo UL motors require the #1709 UL Adapter.
