Explore dry bags, waterproof bags and storage solutions for organising gear on kayaks, boats and other water trips. This collection focuses on compact storage for clothing, personal items and equipment where protection from spray, splashes and wet conditions matters.
Dry Bags or Kayak Storage Boxes?
Choose soft dry bags such as the Jobe 10–50 L range and Fjord Nansen ADVENTURE KAJBAG 35 L/60 L for clothing or gear. For kayak organisation, the active range also includes NuCanoe BlackPak Pro, TracPak, GearPod and a MARINAC dry box. These are distinct mounting or hard-storage solutions rather than soft dry bags. Verify your kayak's rail/mount compatibility. The active Naturehike floating phone pouch is a smaller item for a phone, not a storage bag.
Choosing Water-Ready Storage
Dry bags: useful for separating clothing and selected gear from wet equipment inside a kayak or boat.
Capacity: choose a size based on what you need to carry and the storage space available on your craft.
Closure: roll-top and other closure systems vary by product, so follow the manufacturer's instructions for correct use.
Placement: consider where the bag will be stored or secured so it does not interfere with paddling, seating or other equipment.
Water protection varies by product. Check the individual specification before exposing a bag to heavy rain, repeated splashing or submersion, and do not assume every item provides the same level of waterproofing.
