Two-person outer tent Fjord Nansen FAROE OUT is a 1,100 g Polyester PU flysheet with a 3,000 mm H₂O rain rating. It measures approximately 240 × 290 cm when spread out and pitches as a separate canopy or over a compatible FAROE IN mesh inner, which is sold separately.
More Than a Flat Tarp
Its shaped outer tent stands at approximately 125 cm with two trekking poles or improvised masts, and the manufacturer also allows the peaks to be suspended from a rope between trees. Pole contact points are reinforced. The manufacturer advises using protective tips on trekking poles where they touch the fabric; ARROWHEAD protectors are an optional example.
