Access and Modular Storage

Reach the main compartment from the top or through the front panel, which also has an inner pocket. The collar has a drawcord closure. The lid detaches completely and becomes a waist bag using the included set of straps; the exterior front mesh pocket can hold a jacket or helmet.

Material and Carrying System

Oxford Polyester 600D is described by Fjord Nansen as thick and resistant to abrasion and tearing; this material was previously used in backpack bottoms to improve durability. The adjustable SPECIAL PRO system uses aluminium rails, a thick padded hip belt and perforated foam protrusions that aid back ventilation.
