Waterproof socks Outfish 3-layer nylon/wool with membrane

Waterproof socks designed for trekking and multisport use with a 3-layer construction and a breathable waterproof membrane. The outer knit (90% nylon, 10% elastane) adds durability and 4-way stretch, while the inner terry layer (45% wool, 45% polyester, 5% nylon, 5% elastane) manages moisture and comfort. Membrane performance: 8000 mm hydrostatic head (JIS L 1092:2009, Method B) and 10,000+ g/m²/day breathability (ASTM E96:1995, BW). Keywords: hiking socks, trekking accessories, waterproof gear, outdoor clothing.

Features

➤ Waterproof membrane: 8000 mm (JIS L 1092:2009, Method B) keeps external water out under typical splash and rain exposure.
➤ Breathable comfort: 10,000+ g/m²/day (ASTM E96:1995, BW) allows moisture vapour to escape during activity.
➤ 3-layer build: abrasion-resistant nylon/elastane outer, waterproof middle film, soft terry inner for cushioning and wickability.
➤ Seamless design: smooth toe seam and elastic ankle support reduce friction and help prevent blisters.
➤ Odour control: antimicrobial inner helps limit odour-causing bacteria during extended wear.
➤ Wind resistant: dense knit and membrane block wind chill for added thermal comfort.
➤ Use limit: water level should not exceed sock height; full submersion can allow ingress from the cuff.

Built for hiking, cycling, kayaking, fishing and year-round outdoor work where wet terrain, spray and rain are common. Performs on forest tracks, coastal paths and muddy singletrack; pair with sneakers or hiking boots in cool to cold weather. Suitable for shoulder seasons and winter layering depending on shoe system and intensity. GEO-reference: reliable for autumn and spring trails in Latvia.
