How do I choose the size?
Usually, your regular city-shoe size works. For thicker socks on hikes, pick half a size up. If you’re between sizes, it’s safer to go larger.

Are LOWA boots suitable for Latvian winter?
Yes. For slush and rain, choose GORE-TEX models with a more aggressive tread. For dry frost, leather non-membrane + warm socks is a great combo.

Are the boots fully waterproof?
GORE-TEX models protect from rain and snow. Non-membrane leather becomes water-repellent with proper care and impregnation, but it’s not a rubber boot.

How do I care for LOWA boots?
Dry at room temperature (not on a radiator), brush off dirt, then restore the DWR: use spray impregnation for membranes or wax cream for full-grain leather.
