Alpinus Krywań Hiking Crampons (NX35143) – Black
Key Features & Benefits
- 12 Stainless Steel Spikes: Strategically positioned teeth deliver aggressive traction and stability on slippery, icy, and muddy surfaces.
- Corrosion-Resistant Steel Chains: Heavy-duty chain linkages and reinforced steel plates provide long-lasting durability under constant walking pressure.
- Flexible TPE Rubber Rim: The high-quality thermoplastic rubber (TPE) outer band remains soft and highly stretchable even in extreme sub-zero temperatures, ensuring an easy fit without pressure points.
- Natural Foot Flexion: Front-mounted hinge design allows the foot to bend naturally, significantly reducing fatigue during long distance winter walks.
- Protective Hard Case Included: Comes with a compact, zipped storage pouch (16x13x8 cm) equipped with a carabiner, preventing the sharp steel teeth from damaging other gear inside your backpack.
Hiking & Outdoor Recommendations
- Forest & Valley Trails: Perfect for popular frozen nature paths, slippery boardwalks, and packed snow routes (such as Sigulda or Kemeri trails) where ice builds up underneath the snow.
- Low-Altitude Mountain Trekking: Designed specifically for lower mountain ranges and moderate slopes where classic heavy mountaineering crampons are unnecessary and too heavy.
- Muddy & Slushy Spring Hikes: Excellent for transitional seasons when melting snow mixes with wet clay and mud on steep inclines, providing the grip needed to prevent sliding.
- Urban Winter Safety: Highly convenient for icy sidewalks, icy park paths, or walking the dog in hazardous winter conditions due to their quick pull-on design.
- Safety Note: This product is designed for recreational trail use and is not a substitute for rigid high-altitude mountaineering crampons required for technical vertical ice climbing.
