Bow Motor Mount Nu Canoe U10 and Unlimited #7156
Bow Motor Mount – Nu Canoe U10 & Unlimited, Steel Hardware, Compatible with MinnKota & MotorGuide
Bow Motor Mount is a purpose-built mounting kit that enables direct installation of a bow-mount trolling motor on the Nu Canoe U10 and Unlimited kayak models. The kit includes all necessary mounting plates and hardware for a secure, stable connection between the kayak bow and the motor unit. It is compatible with MinnKota PowerDrive and Terrova series motors, as well as MotorGuide Xi Series motors, making it a versatile solution for anglers who rely on electric propulsion for hands-free boat control. The mount is designed to integrate with the existing Nu Canoe platform structure, requiring no permanent hull modifications.
Features
- ➤ Bow-mount trolling motor compatibility: Enables direct use of a bow-mount motor off the kayak bow without aftermarket fabrication.
- ➤ Broad motor compatibility: Works with MinnKota PowerDrive, MinnKota Terrova, and MotorGuide Xi Series motors.
- ➤ Complete hardware kit: Includes all mounting plates and hardware needed for installation.
- ➤ Model-specific fit: Designed specifically for Nu Canoe U10 and Unlimited platform kayaks.
- ➤ No permanent hull modification: Mounts to the existing Nu Canoe platform structure for a clean, reversible installation.
On open water lakes in Scandinavia or the Baltic lowlands — where wind and current can push a kayak off a fishing position — a bow-mount trolling motor controlled via foot pedal or remote allows the angler to hold position or move quietly without paddling. The Bow Motor Mount provides the structural connection point that makes this possible on the Nu Canoe U10 and Unlimited, which are among the most stable platform kayaks used for stand-up fishing. The mount's compatibility with both MinnKota and MotorGuide systems means anglers are not locked into a single motor brand when upgrading or replacing equipment.
