Sonar: what each view shows

CHIRP conventional sonar is used for fish arches, bait, depth changes and bottom tracking. DownScan Imaging provides a more detailed view of objects directly under the hull, helping distinguish weeds, branches, rocks and bottom transitions. SideScan imaging examines underwater structure to port and starboard and is valuable for locating banks, ledges and other fish-holding areas. The quality of all sonar views depends on transducer placement, water conditions, range and speed.

Navigation and charts

The ROW unit is supplied with a worldwide basemap. Additional detailed regional maps are not guaranteed in the box; choose compatible C-MAP or Navionics chart products appropriate for the Baltic Sea, inland waters or other cruising areas. Depending on charts and software, supported functions include route planning and Genesis Live depth-contour recording. An available chart feature is not the same thing as included cartography.

Connectivity and optional expansion

Elite FS integrates with compatible NMEA 2000 sensors and supported Lowrance systems.
