Ultralight Tent Fjord Nansen Tromvik is a lightweight and highly functional one-person shelter designed for hiking, trekking, and minimalist outdoor travel. The tent uses Nylon Ripstop 15D PU for the flysheet with a waterproof rating of 3000 mm H₂O and a durable Nylon Ripstop 30D inner structure. The floor made from nylon PU provides strong ground protection with 6000 mm H₂O water resistance. The structure is based on a 2Y frame construction with a DCS wall system that significantly increases usable interior space compared to classic igloo-style tents.

The 2Y frame system reduces wall slope and allows the tent to provide up to 3.5× more usable bedroom space relative to a traditional igloo construction. An additional crossbar supports the side walls, making them almost vertical and creating comfortable interior volume where even two people can sit inside.
