Touring Tent Alpinus Velebit 3 — 3-Person, 5000 mm
Touring Tent Alpinus Velebit 3 — 3-Person, 5000 mm
Touring tent Alpinus Velebit 3 is a compact green dome tent for three people. Two entrances, each with its own vestibule, offer access from both sides and storage for luggage. The flysheet and floor each have a 5000 mm water-column rating; the manufacturer notes suitability for high-humidity conditions.
Ripstop flysheet and frame
The 210T ripstop polyester flysheet has increased resistance to tearing, reducing the impact of potential mechanical damage. Its outer material also provides UV protection. Fibreglass poles 9.5 mm in diameter are joined so the inner tent can be attached easily and the shelter positioned securely on less even ground.
Ventilation and access
Two large upper vents support airflow and reduce condensation risk. Tensioning clamps adjust flysheet tension for the conditions, helping with ventilation and internal temperature. Both entrances have vestibules; durable SBS zips are used.
Organisation, assembly and visibility
Six internal pockets organise small accessories, while a mesh shelf below the ceiling holds light items or a torch. A click-buckle system supports quick assembly. Red guy ropes with reflective inserts improve visibility at night.
Packed equipment
The tent is supplied with a fibreglass frame, reflective tensioning ropes, main and additional covers, ceiling mesh shelf and carrying bag. Separate covers help organise transport. A mosquito net is present; there are no windows.
