Down sleeping bag Fjord Nansen NORDKAPP 300 XL RIGHT -1°C / 700 g

Lightweight down sleepingbag with an innovative design of the bottom part of the sleeping bag allows it to be opened completely.

A down sleeping bag like never before. Innovative design and high-quality filling are two of the most important features of the NORDKAPP 300 sleeping bag. Equipped with 33 independently filled chambers and a special drawstring in the leg area, allowing the feet to be fully exposed to the outdoors, make it a versatile sleeping bag for spring-summer or, with additional insulation (such as an insole), summer-autumn outings. Nylon outer fabric is smooth and pleasant to the touch.

The innovative design of the lower part of the sleeping bag, allows you to open it completely, and thus quickly adjust the temperature inside or "move" with the sleeping bag without lowering it. For increased comfort, the sleeping bag features a thermal strip. The whole is completed with a high-quality SBS lock.

Details:

  • lightweight outer and inner fabric of smooth 20d nylon;
  • filled with Polish white duck down in a ratio of 91/9;
  • 33 independently filled chambers;
  • the down has been strategically distributed according to thermal zones;
  • used to fill the sleeping bags with white duck down, in the production process it was washed which gave it additional elasticity;
  • an ergonomic, adjustable hood;
  • thermal strip;
  • a lock of the renowned SBS brand, on the right side;
  • inside the sleeping bag, at the bottom, there are two loops for attaching the liner (this will prevent it from slipping out when leaving the sleeping bag);
  • innovative design that allows you to completely open the bottom of the sleeping bag (foot area).

Parameters:

  • total weight: 700 g;
  • filling weight: 320 g;
  • down resilience: 675 cuin;
  • dimensions when packed: 30 x 16 cm;
  • number of chambers: 33;
  • maximum user height: 195 cm;
  • total length of the sleeping bag: 225 cm;
  • width of the sleeping bag at the widest point: 85 cm;
  • width of the sleeping bag at the narrowest point: 50 cm.

The sleeping bags have passed an insulation test, the results of which are as follows:

  • temperature T max: 15 °C;
  • temperature T comf: 4°C;
  • t lim temperature: -1°C;
  • extreme temperature (T min): -16°C.

Temperatures:

Note: in the name we specify T lim - this is the lowest temperature at which a "standard man" can sleep comfortably. Women or people who freeze easily should be guided by the T comfort thermal parameter when choosing a sleeping bag.

  • Temperature ranges according to EN 13537 - they refer to a standard man and a standard woman after an average effort. NOTE! Sometimes the sensation of cold can be different in different people. Factors such as fatigue, hunger, malaise, previous hypothermia, age, metabolism, body fat thickness, etc. also affect the way the cold is felt.
  1. Upper comfort limit (T max) - the temperature at which a "standard man" does not sweat, and excessive temperature does not disturb his sleep.
  2. Comfort (T comf) - the temperature at which a person is in thermal equilibrium and does not feel cold. This value refers to a "standard", full woman, after an average effort. This parameter should guide women when choosing a sleeping bag.
  3. Limit temperature (T lim) - the lowest temperature at which a "standard man" can sleep comfortably. This parameter should guide men when choosing a sleeping bag.
  4. Extreme temperature (T min) - exceeding this value causes the risk of hypothermia and means conditions in which you can survive for six hours at most (a parameter based on the feelings of the "average woman"). This temperature should not guide us when buying a sleeping bag!
