Ultralight cooking system Fire-Maple Petrel G3 is a compact solo backpacking kit combining a 600 ml anodized aluminum heat-exchanger pot with a titanium stove for maximum fuel efficiency and fast boil times. The system weighs 228 g in total and delivers 2500 W (8531 BTU/h) of output, boiling 500 ml of water in just 95 seconds. The integrated heat exchanger technology captures and recirculates heat from the flame along the pot's ribbed base, significantly reducing fuel consumption compared to standard pots. This makes the Petrel G3 particularly effective in cold or windy conditions where heat loss is greatest. The nesting design packs down to 106 × 149 mm, accommodating a 110 g gas canister and the stove inside the pot.
