Features and practical use
- BMS provides cell balancing and protection against short circuit, excessive current, temperature and over/undervoltage.
- Approximate charge times: 9–10 hours with a compatible 10A charger or 4–5 hours with a 20A charger.
- The compact housing and bolted M8 connections suit a secured battery installation.
Compatibility and installation
Use a charger with the correct chemistry, charging voltage and connector. A nominal “12V” or “24V” label alone does not establish charger compatibility.
Install suitable circuit protection and cable sizes for the connected load. Charge within the specified temperature range and protect terminals from short circuits.
Not designed for direct alternator charging. IP54 does not permit immersion; install in a protected location.
Do not use a 14.6V LiFePO4 charger with this 12.6V lithium-ion battery.
