Features and practical use
- The app shows charge level, current, estimated remaining runtime, temperature and battery health.
- Integrated BMS balances cells and protects against short circuits, excessive current, temperature and over/undervoltage.
- Indicative charging time: 6–7 hours with the compatible 20A charger or 4–5 hours with the 35A charger.
Compatibility and installation
Use a charger with the correct chemistry, charging voltage and connector. A nominal “12V” or “24V” label alone does not establish charger compatibility.
Install suitable circuit protection and cable sizes for the connected load. Charge within the specified temperature range and protect terminals from short circuits.
Dimensions are from the original EDGE manual for the 2025 version. The shorter 2026 housing is a different revision.
For alternator-based charging, use an appropriate DC-DC charging installation instead of assuming direct connection is suitable.
Series and parallel banks must follow the manufacturer's configuration instructions. IP66 does not mean immersion-proof.
