Compare Patriot Nylon and Aluminium Quick-Mount Kits
Patriot Marine Nylon: the ACTIVE nylon mounting kit includes a quick-mount base, electrical connectors and a 60 A circuit breaker. Its listed base dimensions are 32 × 17 × 2.5 cm.
Patriot PM-ACC-KIT-ALU: the ACTIVE aluminium kit includes a quick-mount plate, waterproof power connectors and a 60 A automatic fuse. It is intended for bow-mounted electric trolling motors.
These are mounting and electrical connection accessories, not complete trolling motors. Before buying, check motor model, bolt pattern, deck clearance, required power connection and compatibility using the individual product specifications. Do not assume that all advertised motor brands fit every installation.
Patriot Installation Kit FAQ
What is the main difference between the two kits?
The main difference shown in the listings is the quick-mount base material: nylon versus aluminium. The stated contents and dimensions also differ; review the relevant product page.
Does either kit include an electric motor?
No. Both listed items are motor installation kits, not motors.
Are the mounting kits universal?
The listings mention several motor brands, but final compatibility depends on the exact motor and boat mounting geometry. Verify fit and the electrical requirements before installation.
